Managing DirectorMr. Ashish Kulshreshtha serves as the Managing Director of MACC CERT, bringing over 18 years of professional experience in regulatory compliance, food safety, management systems, environmental management, and international certification services. He plays a pivotal role in driving the organization's operational excellence, business growth, and commitment to delivering globally recognized inspection, auditing, and training solutions.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Kulshreshtha has successfully led compliance and certification projects across India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Egypt. His expertise spans food safety, quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety, and regulatory compliance. He has extensive experience conducting internal and external audits, developing compliance frameworks, and guiding organizations in implementing internationally recognized management system standards.
Prior to MACC CERT, Mr. Kulshreshtha held senior leadership positions with globally recognized organizations, including British Certification Inc., American Bureau of Shipping, and Carnival Cruise Lines. Throughout his career, he has overseen thousands of management system audits, trained more than 3,000 professionals, and built extensive networks of auditors and technical experts. As a certified Lead Auditor across multiple international standards, he continues to strengthen MACC CERT's reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality compliance, certification, and food safety services.
Janmenjoy Banerjee
Chief Executive OfficerMr. Janmenjoy Banerjee is the Chief Executive Officer at MACC CERT, bringing over 30 years of professional experience in management system certification, regulatory compliance, and social compliance. He leads the organization's strategic direction while ensuring excellence in inspection, auditing, training, and certification services.
Throughout his career, Mr. Banerjee has successfully managed large-scale compliance, audit, and project management assignments across diverse sectors including food processing, agriculture, maritime, insurance, and public sector projects. His expertise spans ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems, FSSAI regulations, and internationally recognized social compliance standards such as SA8000, SEDEX, and SLCP.
As an experienced Lead Auditor and trainer, he has conducted more than 3,000 man-days of third-party audits and delivered 300+ man-days of professional training across multiple management system standards. He is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001, and is also a registered APSCA Social Compliance Auditor, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and regulatory compliance.
Vishesh Purswani
Technical ManagerMr. Vishesh Purswani functions as Technical Manager, supporting the effective implementation of the organisation’s certification and conformity-assessment processes. He coordinates technical activities, application and document reviews, auditor and reviewer follow-ups, compliance documentation, and internal communication. His role focuses on ensuring that assignments progress systematically, technical requirements are addressed, and organisational procedures are implemented consistently.
His earlier professional experience includes working with CIFOR-ICRAF under the Trees Outside Forests in India (TOFI) Programme, where he supported programme implementation, strategic outreach and stakeholder engagement across seven states. His work involved coordinating with government departments, research institutions, civil-society organisations and local communities, along with developing and reviewing multilingual training materials, policy notes, knowledge products and field-based communication resources.
Mr. Purswani holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Forest Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing. With strengths in technical documentation, project coordination, stakeholder management, research, communication and operational follow-up, he brings an interdisciplinary perspective to technical management. His structured and collaborative approach supports timely delivery, operational consistency and continuous organisational improvement.
